The shades fit my face absolutely perfectly. The frame is just tight enough and the actual shading balances out very well with the sunlight. Wearing them for long hours outside doesn't bother me either, indicating that they are not too tight on the sides of my ears.I've been looking for a pair of aviator glasses and really wanted them to be Rayban. I ordered the classic 58mm aviators from another site but had to send them back because they looked ridiculous on me. I looked like a fly, plus they didn't seem wide enough for my face. I saw this cockpit style and thought hmmm, maybe that will work. They are only 1mm wider than the classic aviator but the lenses aren't as pointed. They came and I really love them. My only fear is that because I can be pretty rough on my sunglasses, these may not last long. They are my first wire frames and I kill the plastic frame ones in no time. I tend to wear sunglasses on my head and it is not long until they fall off the back of my head and land on the ground. Not sure if I can wear these on the top of my head anyways. They are too lightweight to hold my hair back. The lenses are really clear (mine are brown gradient) and they feel very light on my face. Will probably buy another pair in a different color combination.Update: My dog got a hold of my glasses and chewed up the ear pads. I reordered because I love them so much. Just FYI I ordered the 59mm gold frame with brown gradient lenses. The ear pads on the amazon pic are clear, the actual glasses have brown ear pads. The frame color is "arista" on the packaging.Based on Amazon's 5 star rating1 - Hate it3 - OK5 - Love itI rated these glasses on what I feel any respectable sunglasses should be based on (in order of importance):Quality of lensesComfortStyle1. Quality of lenses (3.25 star)I really did not have a chance to experience the performance of these lenses. For the brief moment I wore these, I didn't notice any blurring or distortion. At the same time, I did not test them during a sunny drive (the purpose for which I wanted to buy sunglasses). Given that Rayban has a reputable background, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a slightly higher rating than a neutral 3.2. Comfort (1 star)First, I would like to state that I feel like I have a large head. With that said, these glasses are not made for large heads. The curvature on the ear steams did not completely go over my ears. The frame was also not wide enough, as they were extremely tight on the temples. But the majority of the low score in this category comes from the low quality feel of this model. It is of metal construction, but I feel it is too flimsy and it feels like they would break easily. For being close to $200, this model feels too cheap to warrant that kind of price tag.3. Style (4 star)I feel the styling of these glasses are better than the "original" aviators. Traditional aviators have a dramatic tear drop shape, which I personally don't like. These glasses have more rounded corners, and is approaching a squarish design. It really is a shame these didn't fit me.So the average score comes out to a 2.75. Comfort was the biggest issue I had with these glasses. So, if the style is to your liking and you have a small to medium sized face/head, give these a try. For all you other "big heads" out there, look elsewhere. Amazon, as always, was excellent during this transaction. The way this product is priced, i have my doubts on the authenticity of this product. But my doubts were cleared after comparing this product to my wifes existing polarized rayban sunglasses. there are some variations to the case i bought from ray ban website to the case provided with this product. but there are no variations from the quality of vision from my sun glasses to this one. on that basis i would say this might be a real deal or a very genuinely duplicated product. either way i am satisfied with this product and would give this a try.however this particular design has one drawbacks, if you are standing in same direction of the sun rays there might be a possibility of sun rays reflecting from inside polarized layer distract you from time to time. I already have a non polarized version of this design with carbon fiber legs and that design doesnt have this problem, it might be because of the reflective polarized surface. But i bought this design because it suits my face structure and in my case those rare distractions are ok with me but for some it may not. so i would recommend you try these at sunglasses hut or any store before buying.I'm a fan of aviators but they usually look ridiculous with my face shape — I'm not a fan of the large tear drop. As advertised. Well made, came with all the Ray-Ban accessories. Look great. It was my understanding that this particular Ray-Ban was made in China, mine were stamped Italy. I suppose they manufacturer these in both. I don't think it would make much of a difference if they were made in China, but kind of nice they were made in Italy. If you're looking for a small aviator, check these out for sure.As a gift for a friend, this is a good shades and looks durable and the color is just right as it is in the photo. For me, its a bit pricey.Thank you and good luck to ur businessTop notch Rays, replacing the exact ones I accidently lost a few weeks ago after 5years of having them. But gad to see i could still get hold of the exact same ones as the lenses are a bit smaller and fit my face better,,,and at a bloody good price aswell. As i was shopping around, most other outlets were asking around £180-200 what a bargain at £ 92.!!They're Ray Bans, they're Aviators, there are no surprises here. They didn't fit my face, but that's not exactly their fault. They're expensive for what they are (metal wire holding bits of dark glass), but that's life.Fantastic quality...unfortunately had to send back as the size is more suited to women rather than men. Would buy the next size up for hubby...and wouldn't begrudge paying more.Glasses arrived before estimated arrival time, before my partner's birthday. Fit perfectly.Wonderful shades... not a criticism but do note that they are the135mm version on arm length which is slightly shorter than average
