The lenses started to D laminate Maui Jim's warranties or lenses. I sent them to Maui Jim and they confirmed that the lenses are not theirs did the glasses are knock offs. So I paid full player price for junk that isn't warranty. They suggested that you only buy from vendors that are certified by Maui JimI’ve been rocking Holbrook XL’s for years. They are my favorite style from Oakley. I’ve got several pairs. In the car, tractor, on the desk, in my lunch box, and on my face 90% of the time. But if you’ve had regular Holbrooks, you’ve stared at the metal framed ones too. Knowing that they exist makes you think that the plastic frames are more daily banger and not premium enough for a night on the town with the wife. That evening without the kids when you pick the nicest watch from your collection, the knife with the most sentimental value, your nicest pen and your nicest shades. These were those shades in theory. I was a little surprised when I received them, thinking that they felt flimsy. Not very “Oakley” tough. But they were absolutely gorgeous. They fit fairly well. A hair snug but I’ve got a giant noggin’. These aren’t XL’s. I don’t believe they fit badly though. I enjoy wearing them. They definitely tend to make a statement. I get a lot of compliments on them. They have held up really well too. Im pretty happy with this purchase. How about some metal XL’s Oakley?!Prizm polarized lenses are the absolute best, pair them with durable metal frames and you can’t beat these sunglasses (this is the second pair I’ve owned)Very happy with the product and love the way the fit. very comfortable but there was one thing about them. when they came in they had a big scratch on the front of one lenses an one on the back side of the other. The packaging was pretty suspect it did not come in an official oakley box but an unmarked box with no sku relating to oakley at all. The box contained the glasses in the bag and the loose paperwork. As far as the markings on them they look to be legit they seem to be pretty good quality but I can see myself sitting on them and possibly bending the frames out of shape. We will see when I start using them how things go.... I'll update this review if things go south. These were extremely thin & Not very comfortable. I can't see these holding up very long. I own a pair of Oakley Holbrook XL that I love. The metal Holbrook is considerably tighter on the sides. I did like the gunmetal color, but that was the only positive. Returned. These are great sunglasses! They are my first nice pair in years and the difference is amazing. I am very light sensitive and have huge issues with glare especially while riding my moto. My helmet uses a yellow visor just to help reduce glare for me. These do way better! they filter out a ton of bright glare and give me perfect vision. I have been wearing them for a while now and they have no issues as far as distortion from heat etc.I lowered my rating to 4/5 starts however because the lens do scratch quite easily.I am wearing contacts now but used reading glasses for about 5 years and during this time i became very concious about how and where i placed my glasses. I am still doing the same but for these, and 2 noticeable but luckily not in my vision scratches are already showing on the lenses... I have not dropped them for hit them against anything so most likely something just rubbed up against them wrong which sitting them on my work desk.Look great. Surprisingly not as durable as I expected. The screws that hold the lenses in the same come loose easily (a problem I've never had with regular Holbrook's).For the price, these are excellent shades. Look great as well. A tad more delicate than resin/plastic but that’s not a problem if you look after them.Oakley sunglasses the best you can find. These holbrooks are fantastic. Sturdy, and for metal frames they are quite light. Comfortable, could wear them all day. The glasses are everything I wanted. The seller is very good prompt service. Would recommend them to anyone wanting sunnies. Not as comfortable as I expected based on a similar pair I had for which these were a replacement. Like the way the look though sort of Top Gunesque! The matte paint is quite bad, peels off really easily. Just two months of use, and it started coming off next to the lenses on both sides. If you touch it with your nail it leaves a scratch! Makes me wonder if this is even an original product. Quite disappointed...I've owned quite a few pairs of Oakleys and i have to say these are my favourites, not just because they're my newest pair or that they fit like all Oakleys.. Its the lenses!! And look..
