These have a very loose, yet snug fit. They don't slide off of my face, even if I am turning quickly.I am comparing these to the Serpico. I like the fit of the Serpico much more than these. The reason is because they curve around my face and block sun better. The Ridgeway (these) have a bigger lens, but they curve down, and are almost completely flat across my face, which allows the sun the shine from above. They felt somewhat awkward on my face, but now that I'm used to them I don't really care.A downside is that they have an odd wobble. It feels like they don't have a perfect fit when I put them on, but then I give them a little adjustment and they feel just fine. Maybe I have an odd shaped face?They have a sweet look. The gunmetal is a sweet look. It is stated that they are polarized lens. But these would look awesome if the lens had the mirror look.Regardless of the cosmetics, these sunglasses are fantastic now that I am used to them. They fit nice, and look sweet.I bought these for my son since he has a round face and has a hard time finding sunglasses to fit and he's super picky. Of course being a mom, I wanted to make sure he was wearing polarized lenses so after searching for days trying to decide on a pair that would fit him, the Smith Optics Ridgeway looked and sounded the best by the picture and description plus all the good reviews. My son wasn't disappointed at all and loves the way he looks. I tell him how handsome he is and looks like Tom Cruise in Top Gun. This is a great buy!They are light wight. A bit to light for my licking but they fit well and look nice.Update:After 9 months of use the arms of the sunglasses have begun to wear on the lens.I like these sunglasses but after a couple of months the frame seems to wear out easily. The glasses itself just seems to loosen up and it falls out easily after a while. I went ahead and bought a pair of Raybans-you get what you pay for I guess.I really didn't like them sorry to tell u that , but the pic for this product shows the sunglasses more Stately than it in the realLOVE IT. It's so light it's amazing. Is polarized, so probably is uv blocking too. Awesome sungalsses, I might buy 10 so I have a lifetime supply of it.This glasses are perfect for when I go biking. They're light but seem very sturdy. Also I really appreciate the polarization on the lens, it really helps with reflections in an urban environment.I am ver y disappointed.
